Fixed.
The regular expression was just too restrictive for the right hand side of the TS-options = xxxx
equation.
Thanks again Mark.

TS-options seems not to be working correctly. The following causes
typeset and preview to hang:
%!TEX TS-program = xelatex
%!TEX TS-options = -output-driver="xdvipdfmx -q -E"
But if I just use the same TS-program directive and specify:
output-driver="xdvipdfmx -q -E"
in the options of the LaTeX Bundle Preferences, then everything works
fine.
Best, Mark
