WordpressDash does use xmlrpc.  And it doesn't retrieve the drafts.   You have to log in to publish them, as far as I can tell.

However, I just published a draft with WordPressDash, then pulled it into TextMate with Fetch Post and then published it to my blog.  So if you're having trouble doing that...

That's your question, right?

Well, i dont now ..
but isn't there a way to see how http://www.paniris.com/wordpressdash/ did it?
As seen in the screenshot you can save as "draft"
It's specially for wordpress so it can't be a limit on that side ..
the only drawback could be that the widget doesn't use the xmlrpc

I'm only for 4 months on mac now (because of textmate :-) ) .. so i don;t know the basics

It's a limitation of Wordpress, I think.  Drafts don't seem show up as posts until they're published.  When you save as Status: Draft, you have to log in to publish, or change the status on the returned information that comes back after you publish in draft mode.

Hi,
i've run into a little problem:
I've made a "draft" via webinterface of wordpress, but when i press "Fetch Post" i don't get to see the "Draft"

Is this a missing feature (sinds it isn't also in the "headers" part
Or is that the xmlrpc.php that has the limitations
