Dear Paul,

many thanks! I found the chktexrc-file. You are right - the file is extensively commented. However, my efforts did not succeed. What I tried:

To make ChkTeX ignore the usepackage-command (most dash warnings appear in this context) I added "\usepackage:[]{}" to the WipeArg-List. No success.

Another confusing thing: with default settings ChkTeX obviously interprets each dash independently of the context. Anyway, for example I don't understand why

"\usepackage[output-decimal-marker=comma]{siunitx}"

generates a warning. According to the default definition in the chktexrc-file this is a common HyphDash, isn't it? Maybe it is an encoding problem? I am using utf-8.

Thanks a lot!

Andreas
