I noticed this also.  If you hold down option and click a folder it will toggle the subfolders to be open or closed, but they seem to expand recursively sometimes without holding down option<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

Just created a new file (Cmd-N). Made the drawer visible and then got beach balled for about a minute while all the folders under the Sites directory got expanded recursively. None of the other directory on the same level - like Applications were expanded. Is this a bug or just some switch I need to turn off?<br>
