OK, so the choice of font via the menu is persistent? I was always
under the impression that ~/.tm_properties was the "correct" way of
setting a default font, since an (admittedly old) blog post seems to
document it as such. If not I will stop using that approach, but for
the record the right spelling seems to be "SourceCodePro-Medium".
