Coincidentally I recently added the following to the 1.x code base:

     [NEW] Holding down the option modifier key while dragging files
     to the text area inserts the path to the file rather than the
     content of the file (except when a drag command is setup for the
     file type in the current scope).

I haven’t gotten around to put out a new edge build, I have a short  
list of things I want to do with 1.x for that to happen, but my mind  
is deeply buried in the 2.0 code base… :)
