Chad,

No problem.  Did you try setting the Highlight color on the Theme in  
the Fonts and Colors tab?

In the TextMate Preferences:
(1) Check "Highlight Current Line" in the "General" tab
(2) Set the "Line Highlight" Color of your selected Theme in the  
"Fonts & Colors" tab
