I'm using the latest version of TextMate- 985 -  and MacOS.
I even cleaned my local /Library/Application Support/Textmate 
directories, both in ~and in root.
I have a G4 PB, with a Belgian keyboard. Textmate is installed in the 
Application directory.

I'm clueless.
