Interesting, I use bibdesk also but it doesn't produce such things  
for me. Perhaps it has to do with what kinds of characters you use in  
the entries, I tend to stick with english characters. It should be  
fixed now, I made the parser a bit more lenient, and it just skips  
anything it does not understand (it was expecting every entry to be a  
book/article entry, with citekeys etc)
