Here is an improved version.

Changes:
- do not insert a NEWLINE after the selection
- if the result is complex meaning two or more lines the output is the  
same like in R; now you can insert e.g. this 'matrix(c(1:20),nrow=4)'  
correctly or if you want '?print'
