I think most of us don't use that window at all, we just use the  
"Edit in TextMate" feature instead (or I guess copy and paste will  
also do). It's not just the font that is the problem, it's that you  
don't have access to all the TM goodness,  smart pairs and syntax  
highlight and so on.
