Installing the svn from Martins site didn't work...but I got it to
work. It took me awhile to understand what they were talking about
regarding "install the svn-client" but now I know.

I installed Fink (http://fink.sourceforge.net/). Was able to do the
setup things as instructed on the Fink site. Then, "svn" and
"svn-client" are in the packages list displayed in Fink.

Select both of them and click on the install packages button towards
the upper left of the interface. Now, svn will work via Terminal.

Do this and relaunch TextMate:

mkdir -p /Library/Application\ Support/TextMate
cd /Library/Application\ Support/TextMate
export LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 # assuming you don't have this setup already
svn --username anon --password anon co
http://macromates.com/svn/Bundles/trunk .

Ahhhhh, look at the colors, snippets, etc.!

Thanks Charles
