[TextMate] Your syntax definitions?

Pardon me whilst I brainstorm.  What if I could feed TM a grammar (say, 
in BNF) for a language?  Then TM could figure out syntax highlighting 
from that based on hints, such as "string literal", "variable", "loop 
construct", etc?
